What’s The Right Roof System To Install - Our customers have a choice among the leading roof systems available. Unlike autos and appliances are not factory assembled in a controlled environment. Every new roof comes unassembled and is retrofitted to your home on site.  This must all be professionally performed during changing weather elements, while assuring watertight conditions and providing the utmost care for your property. Roof systems and structures may be similar. However it is our belief that every home is as unique as its owner.

Thermoplastics – TPO: TPO membranes are produced by calendering with lamination, extrusion with lamination, or extrusion-coating techniques. TPO sheets are a blend of polypropylene and ethylene propylene polymers and usually are reinforced with polyester. TPO sheets contain colorant, flame retardants, UV absorbers and other proprietary substances to achieve desired physical properties.

BUR & Modified Bitumen Roofing: BUR (Built-Up Roofing): We offer traditional multi-ply BUR roof systems. As one of the oldest low-slope roof systems, it's still applied to commercial roofs today. Modified Bitumen: Combining the familiarity and dependability of traditional BUR with the addition of polymer modification. Modified systems are highly tear-resistant making them ideal for heavy traffic.

Spray Polyurethane Foam: SPF-based roof systems are constructed by mixing and spraying a two-component liquid that forms the base of an adhered roof system. SPF can be installed in various thicknesses to provide slope to drain or meet a specified thermal resistance (R-value). A protective surfacing is then applied to the foam to provide protection from the elements.

Metal Solutions: There are three general categories of metal roof systems used for steep-slope roofing applications: architectural metal panel, structural metal panel and metal shingle/shingle panels. Generally, architectural metal panel roof systems are watershedding and are intended for use on steep slope roofs. Structural metal panel roof systems are used on low and steep slope roofs. Structural metal panel roof systems can be used on low slope roofs because of their hydrostatic, or water barrier, characteristics.

EPDM Rubber Roofing: Over the past 20 years, roofing sytsems using ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (EDPM) have established an impressive history of performance. This performance has allowed EPDM to steadily gain market share until it is now the most widely specified synthetic rubber roofing polymer. EPDM's outstanding growth and performance history can be attributed to a number of unique features which provide both immediate and long-term benefits. This paper review the development of EPDM roofing membranes, accessories and installation details and identifies a basis for the outstanding acceptance of EPDM roofing sytems. The paper also outlines the performance history that has contributed to this success.

IMPORTANCE OF A QUALITY ROOF SYSTEM:

Benjamin Franklin stated “Next to the foundation the roof is the most important part of a building”. The National Roof Contractor’s Association states, “The average new roof will experience leaks within 10 years”.  They also state, “99% of roof failure is due to workmanship”. These three statements accurately stress not only the importance of a quality roof system, but also the integral part the contractor/installer plays in acquiring a quality roof. We receive repair calls on a daily basis for roofs less than 6 years old that were installed
by others after Hurricane Wilma. These roofs have leaks and the contractor is either out of business or simply does not respond.

WARRANTIES:

Warranties are necessary but also complex and confusing. In South Florida, the harsh damaging ultra violet rays combined with periodic tropical storms and hurricanes can cause premature roof failure! Is your roofing contractor well versed and knowledgeable with manufacturers material and labor warranties? Does the contractor have the ability to offer extended manufacturer warranties? The contractor should have the clear knowledge and ability to offer the best manufactures material, labor and workmanship warranties available.

PRICE & VALUE:

Price is always a factor especially in a poor economy! Value is always a factor especially in a poor economy! Please think about it… Doesn’t a poor economy create a higher demand for value? Who has funds to pay twice for the same product? If you’ve received three or more proposals, you will probably see a range of prices, which in turn provides a range of value. Another great quote: “There is scarcely anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and sell a little more cheaply. People who buy on price alone are this person’s lawful prey”. Price is easily seen, however value or lack of value can be elusive. We at All American Roofing, Inc. not only provide a top quality roof system but also additional “layers of value”. Please use the attached “layers of value chart” when comparing companies. Please call us or visit our office. We at All American Roofing, Inc. wholeheartedly thank you for the opportunity to become your roofing contractor and we will exhaust all efforts to become your roofer of choice.
